Role Summary: Tendering Manager

FieldCore is seeking a Tendering Manager to lead the costing and planning of upgrade projects throughout the Middle East. This full-time position is critical for ensuring high standards across key operational metrics, including SQDC, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The Tendering Manager will contribute directly to the operating plans of OFS & GE Vernova by developing precise and competitive project proposals.

Core Tendering and Cost Estimation Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PES and GEV Commercial & Sales teams to provide tailored upgrade plans and cost estimates for opportunities, contributing to operating plans.
• Develop field service project cost estimates using established standards, ensuring comprehensive planning for schedule, cost, man loading, core outage/critical path impact, and job set-up.
• Prepare competitive outage offers, focusing on scope, resourcing, timing, and cost, and follow the opportunity through its project lifecycle.

Project Lifecycle Support and Performance Monitoring

• Support the planning and execution of projects from opportunity through closeout by reviewing updated project requirements, developing and updating cost estimates, escalating cost variances, and tracking performance relative to SQDC and KPI targets.
• Support communication flow between event management, ITO, parts, repairs, sourcing, engineering, and PES to facilitate execution excellence across the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project costs with the support of the value stream, productivity, and project controls teams, and perform As-sold vs. As-executed analysis for all projects.
• Conduct Gemba walks during project execution to gather lessons learned for future projects.
• Support end customer pre- and post-outage meetings as required to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Review technical reports generated on site, updating documentation, project status, and cost as required.
• Partner with Regional & PES Operations teams to ensure a feedback loop that drives continuous improvement and provides inputs to key planning and review processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for the Tendering Manager position are required to have 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the energy or power generation industry.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Saudi Arabia. The role involves active engagement in project planning and execution across the Middle East region.
