About the Role: Assistant Manager Medical Representation

Nestlé is seeking an Assistant Manager Medical Representation to join our team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the ethical detailing of Nestlé Infant Nutrition products within an assigned territory. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, focusing on clear communication and adherence to established guidelines.

Role Purpose and Ethical Standards

The primary purpose of this role is to provide accurate and reliable information about Nestlé Infant Nutrition products, including their features, benefits, and appropriate use, to medical and paramedical contacts. All activities must strictly comply with guidelines set by NME Nutrition, the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast Milk Substitutes, Nestlé Instructions, and local country codes, particularly concerning situations where mothers are unable or choose not to breastfeed their babies. A core aspect of the role is to promote Nestlé’s belief that breastfeeding is the optimal feeding alternative for infants.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate information on Nestlé Infant Nutrition products to medical and paramedical contacts, emphasizing areas relevant to their practice.
• Promote breastfeeding as the best option for infant feeding.
• Participate in the organization and execution of scientific meetings related to product knowledge, nutrition, or other pertinent medical/paramedical topics, including sponsorship meetings and guest lecturer invitations.
• Monitor and report competitor activities, such as new products and communication strategies, to the Medical Field Manager.
• Maintain comprehensive records and registers for all correspondence and daily activities.
• Identify and manage relevant information for all contacts within the assigned territory through a master list, classifying contacts by interest and importance, and completing regular call cards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Assistant Manager Medical Representation position should possess a strong academic background and relevant professional experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Medicine, Nutrition, or Biology is required.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience is expected.
• Prior experience as a Medical Delegate is desirable for this role.
