About the Business Development Executive Role

OBD, a Saudi brand transformation company, is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on accelerating OBD's growth by identifying new business opportunities and fostering client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of branding and consultative selling, with a proven ability to build connections with ambitious companies across Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive will play a key role in expanding OBD's market presence. This involves working closely with the Business Development Director and leadership team to generate qualified leads and cultivate long-term client partnerships. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and qualifying new business opportunities throughout Saudi Arabia, maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects, and managing the sales process from initial contact to closing.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities across Saudi Arabia.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through various channels including LinkedIn, email, referrals, and networking.
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings with potential clients.
  • Understand client challenges and propose suitable OBD solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and update sales pipeline information.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with business owners, executives, and key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with strategy and design teams during the proposal development process.
  • Represent OBD professionally in meetings, networking events, and business functions.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance prospecting, research, communication, and sales workflows.
  • Achieve defined monthly and quarterly business development targets.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be currently based in Saudi Arabia and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, or Client Acquisition. Proven experience selling professional services to businesses, particularly with Saudi clients, is essential. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are required, alongside robust prospecting and lead generation capabilities. The ability to build relationships with executives, founders, and business owners is crucial.

  • Must currently be based in Saudi Arabia.
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Management, or Client Acquisition.
  • Proven experience selling professional services to businesses.
  • Experience working with Saudi clients is required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation capabilities.
  • Ability to build relationships with executives, founders, and business owners.
  • Organized, proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience in a branding, marketing, creative, or consulting agency is advantageous. An existing professional network within Saudi Arabia and prior experience selling high-value professional services would be beneficial. A solid understanding of branding, marketing, and business transformation principles is also preferred.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of a prominent Saudi Brand Transformation company, working with leading Saudi brands and ambitious businesses on high-impact projects.
