About the Dart Quality Assurance Lead Role

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Dart Quality Assurance Lead for a remote contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and consistency of Dart AI training projects, ensuring trainer performance, and evaluating AI-generated code and related outputs against project guidelines. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that Dart training data is accurate, executable, maintainable, clearly explained, and meets client expectations. This role is with a rapidly growing AI Data Services company that partners with major AI companies and foundation-model labs.

Key Responsibilities

The Dart Quality Assurance Lead will perform the following duties:

• Conduct spot-checks of Dart-related tasks and provide ongoing feedback.
• Review AI-generated Dart code, Flutter snippets, debugging responses, tests, and explanations.
• Communicate guideline updates and Dart-specific standards via Discord.
• Address questions related to Dart syntax, null safety, asynchronous behavior, Flutter usage, packages, testing, and rubric interpretation.
• Engage with inactive contributors and manage follow-ups for activation.
• Develop Dart documentation, style guides, examples, trackers, FAQs, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for Dart contributors.
• Identify and flag insecure, misleading, non-executable, or non-production-ready Dart/Flutter recommendations.
• Propose improvements to QA processes based on identified recurring gaps.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in English to understand guidelines and provide clear technical feedback.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Dart, Flutter, mobile development, frontend development, code review, QA, or technical mentoring.
• A strong understanding of Dart syntax, null safety, classes, mixins, extensions, generics, collections, futures, streams, isolates, packages, and error handling.
• The ability to identify issues such as incorrect asynchronous handling, type errors, weak null-safety implementation, non-executable code, logical flaws, hallucinated APIs, or incomplete explanations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with Flutter, widgets, state management, **** packages, unit/widget testing, integration testing, build tools, mobile app architecture, GitHub, and CI/CD.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, engineers, reviewers, or QAs is strongly preferred.
• Comfort working with platforms such as Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, GitHub, and project management systems.
• High organizational skills to manage style guides, trackers, FAQs, honeypots, calibration tasks, and onboarding materials.
• Experience with AI training, LLM evaluation, code QA, or rubric-based code review is considered a strong asset.

Work Arrangement and Process

This is an hourly, remote contract role. The selection process includes an AI interview, a domain-specific task, and an interview with a recruiter. While there is no immediate project for this role, qualified candidates will be prioritized for future relevant opportunities and gain access to the company's expert network.
