Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Director of Revenue Management I to join its team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in the historic city of Medina.

Role Overview

The Director of Revenue Management I is responsible for optimizing total revenues and profit associated with guest rooms by balancing the financial objectives of various lodging products. This role involves accountability for pricing, positioning, and inventory across all hotels within the area of purview. The Director develops and recommends sales strategies for transient, wholesale, and group segments, identifies new revenue opportunities, and communicates strategies to key stakeholders, including General Managers, sales leaders, franchisees, and owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue management data to identify current and potential problems, propose solutions, and identify trends, future need periods, and obstacles to achieving goals.
• Generate updates on the transient segment, continually analyze transient booking patterns, and assist with account diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate reservation system information and regularly check distribution channels for hotel and competitor positioning and information accuracy.
• Analyze weekly and monthly STAR information to evaluate past strategies, identify areas for improvement, assess competitor strengths, and develop strategies to capture market share.
• Generate yearly room revenue budgets and assist in the development of RevPAR Index forecasts.
• Provide critical input to property leaders for market sales strategy development and offer revenue management functional expertise and leadership.
• Implement and evaluate revenue tests, ensuring sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented, and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
• Assist hotels with pricing, provide input on business evaluation recommendations, and suggest improvements to revenue management processes.
• Ensure property diagnostic processes (PDP) are utilized to maximize revenue and profits.
• Communicate brand initiatives, demand, and market analysis to hotels, clusters, franchise partners, and owners.
• Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, providing targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges.
• Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information, and collaborate with others to gather information for project management and problem resolution.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, combined with 1 year of experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or a related professional area.
• Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with no work experience required.
