Faculty Positions: Interior Design

University of Prince Mugrin is seeking highly qualified faculty members for full-time Lecturer and Teaching Assistant positions within the Interior Design (INTD) Department of the College of Engineering (COE). These roles are based at the university campus in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, and are open to candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach and develop courses within the Interior Design curriculum.
  • Complete necessary documentation to maintain programmatic accreditation.
  • Supervise senior research projects for students.
  • Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in accordance with program curricula.
  • Advise assigned student advisees on individual plans of study (POS) and approve registration plans. (New full-time faculty members may be exempted from this duty for their first semester.)
  • Provide guidance to student advisees on academic student policies.
  • Monitor the academic progress of student advisees, including course performance, enrollment changes, academic probation, and referrals to Academic Support Services/Counseling.
  • Participate actively in departmental activities, as well as College and University committees.
  • Collaborate with the Department Head and faculty members on curriculum planning and development initiatives.
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities within your area of specialty, involving undergraduate students in research efforts.
  • Supervise internship students when assigned.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the department chair and the dean of the College.
