About the F&B Service Expert Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with less than one year of related experience who are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Role Purpose and Guest Experience Focus

The F&B Service Expert plays a crucial role in crafting memorable and unique dining experiences for our guests. This position moves beyond basic food service to proactively deliver a wide range of services, ensuring that every interaction, including transactions, contributes to a positive and integrated guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and preparing tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Interacting with and serving guests in a professional and attentive manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and supplies.

Qualifications and Professional Standards

Candidates for this position should meet the following qualifications and demonstrate a commitment to professional standards:

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Less than one year of related work experience.
• Ability to contribute to a safe workplace environment.
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Upholding quality standards in service and presentation.
• Maintaining a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.
• No supervisory experience is required for this role.
• No specific license or certification is required.

Physical Demands of the Role

This role requires physical stamina and mobility to perform duties effectively. The F&B Service Expert will be expected to:

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and navigate over sloping, uneven, or potentially slippery surfaces.
• Manage menus, which includes reading and visually verifying information.
• Engage in hands-on tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Perform movements requiring reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
