About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Food Services Supervisor (Saudi only) to join their team. This full-time role involves ensuring optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within the food services department. The supervisor will play a key role in team coordination, operational oversight, and maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing areas.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
• Oversee dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement improvements for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
