About the Functional Consultant Role

Dautom is seeking a Functional Consultant for a contract position in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on the implementation and optimization of DELMIA Quintiq software, a leading solution for supply chain planning and optimization.

Role Focus and Purpose

As a Functional Consultant, you will operate as an Industry Process Consultant (IPC), specializing in the DELMIA Quintiq platform. Your primary objective will be to assist clients in enhancing their supply chain, production, and workforce planning capabilities through expert implementation and optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workshops and interviews to understand and document clients' current (AS-IS) business processes, planning methodologies, and challenges.
• Analyze complex supply chain, production, or workforce planning scenarios to identify optimization opportunities.
• Translate customer requirements into clear, comprehensive functional specifications, use cases, and technical requirements for the development team.
• Perform functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and quality assurance to ensure the solution meets business requirements and is user-friendly.
• Provide expert functional support to the customer during development, go-live, and post-implementation phases.
• Deliver training and documentation to end-users and business key users.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in functional consulting, particularly with supply chain planning and optimization software. A specific requirement for this contract role is that the candidate must provide their own laptop for work.

Work Arrangement and Location

This is a contract-based position located in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently while integrating effectively with client teams.
