About the Instructional Designer Role

Aanaab is seeking an Instructional Designer to create high-quality digital learning experiences. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on transforming knowledge into engaging online content that meets client and learner needs. The role involves close collaboration with subject matter experts and internal teams to ensure instructional quality and alignment with Aanaab’s standards.

Core Responsibilities

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for the end-to-end development of digital learning materials. Key duties include:

• Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design course outlines, storyboards, and video scripts.
• Developing and reviewing training materials such as presentations, assignments, and readings for quality and coherence.
• Creating lecture presentations for recorded video sessions.
• Coaching SMEs for videography sessions and coordinating rehearsals.
• Liaising with videography, editing, and design teams.
• Conducting final quality assurance and review of all course materials.
• Setting up course pages and uploading content onto the Aanaab platform.
• Partnering with marketing teams on course promotion and engagement strategies.
• Presenting work to clients and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Researching training needs to inform content strategy.
• Analyzing course data and feedback to recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in digital learning or instructional design.
• Proven experience building SCORM courses.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in learning development.
• A portfolio showcasing interactive learning experiences.
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-generated learning workflows.
• Experience in subscription learning platforms.
• Knowledge of microlearning ecosystems.
• Understanding of xAPI and learning analytics.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product and technology teams.
• Excellent proficiency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.

Work Type and Collaboration

This is a full-time position. The Instructional Designer will work closely with subject matter experts, internal teams, marketing, and clients, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills.
