About the Role

stc is seeking a Lead Procurement Analyst to manage and oversee all procurement activities. This full-time role involves taking ownership of the procurement process, ensuring service delivery is cost-effective, and aligning with strategic objectives and defined service level agreements. The successful candidate will operate in accordance with established business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all procurement activities for projects, from RFP development to supplier selection and contract signature.
• Provide input and execute sourcing strategies as directed by the supervising director.
• Complete and report purchasing requests to the supervising director.
• Lead purchasing requests, evaluate their completeness, classify them by value (*, risk, financial), and assign them to purchasing analysts.
• Assist in managing SLAs for tendered and non-tendered change orders, as well as change orders for the supplier market and spend categories.
• Execute service delivery functions and processes with a focus on implementation.
• Provide input to the supervising director on supply market trends, including competitive pressures, new entrants, substituting products or services, and changes in the value chain.
• Contribute to developing segmentation criteria and mapping the supply base to desired relationship types.
• Provide input on supply and financial risks of suppliers to the supervising director.
• Manage and regularly update the catalogue of suppliers.
• Lead potential procurement synergies with other subsidiaries and manage their implementation in coordination with the Synergies department.
• Manage business cases, including the need for cross-functional resources, timeframes, and targets.
• Review historical data to identify demand/consumption trends and track deviations.
• Oversee business planning efforts in collaboration with the Procurement Head.
• Participate in adapting to changing stc needs by collaborating with other sectors and prioritizing sourcing initiatives.
• Supervise purchasing requirements and project specifications with unit management and suppliers.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 4-6 years of relevant experience in procurement or a related analytical role. The role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes and the ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.

This is a full-time position within stc, requiring close collaboration with various internal sectors and external suppliers to achieve procurement objectives.
