About the Role

Jobgether is seeking a Lifecycle & Retention Strategist for a partner e-commerce growth agency based in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on enhancing customer lifetime value and long-term retention for high-growth subscription e-commerce brands. The role requires a strategic approach, data analysis, and a strong understanding of customer experience to drive revenue, reduce churn, and increase subscriber engagement.

Role Overview

This position operates at the intersection of strategy, data, and customer experience. The Lifecycle & Retention Strategist will serve as a key strategic partner to clients, developing and implementing lifecycle marketing programs designed to significantly impact revenue, churn reduction, and subscriber engagement. The work environment is analytical and fast-paced, emphasizing experimentation, performance measurement, and continuous optimization. Collaboration with CRM execution specialists, designers, and copywriters is essential to bring retention strategies to life. This client-facing role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on ownership of lifecycle marketing performance, directly influencing the sustainable scaling of CPG subscription brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute lifecycle and retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value (LTV) and reduce churn for subscription-based brands.
  • Manage client relationships as the primary strategic point of contact for retention marketing initiatives.
  • Build and optimize customer lifecycle journeys, including email/SMS automations, segmentation, and retention flows using tools like Klaviyo.
  • Conduct cohort and customer behavior analyses to identify trends and retention opportunities.
  • Manage retention calendars and campaign planning across multiple client accounts.
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve retention outcomes.
  • Collaborate with CRM specialists, designers, and copywriters to execute impactful campaigns.
  • Lead retention projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and strong performance results.
  • Monitor industry trends in subscription commerce and lifecycle marketing to inform strategy development.
  • Strengthen long-term client relationships and contribute to account growth and retention.

Required Qualifications and Experience

This role requires substantial experience in lifecycle or retention marketing within e-commerce or subscription-based business models. A deep understanding of customer data, CRM systems, and performance-driven marketing is essential. The ideal candidate is proficient in both strategic planning and hands-on execution, possesses strong client management skills, and can translate data into actionable growth strategies.

  • 4+ years of experience in retention marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise in Klaviyo, including flows, automations, segmentation, reporting, and lifecycle strategy.
  • Proven ability to conduct cohort analysis and derive insights from customer behavior data.
  • Experience working with e-commerce, direct-to-consumer (DTC), or subscription-based brands.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple accounts or projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with subscription platforms such as ReCharge, Skio, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of subscription commerce and customer lifecycle marketing principles.
  • Comfortable using AI tools (*, ChatGPT, Claude) to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.
