About the Role

Intermountain Rigging and Heavyhaul is seeking a Millwright Superintendent to manage industrial services operations in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all work activities at assigned job sites, ensuring safe, profitable, and efficient day-to-day operations. The Superintendent reports directly to the Millwright Industrial Manager and is accountable for the successful execution of projects.

Leadership and Team Management

The Millwright Superintendent plays a central role in guiding project teams and fostering a collaborative work environment. This involves direct supervision and mentorship of foremen, leadmen, craft laborers, and apprentices to ensure successful project conclusion. The Superintendent determines work priorities, coordinates activities, and assigns tasks based on employee abilities and specialized training. Regular communication with management is essential to promote effective team building across all job assignments.

Operational Oversight and Project Execution

• Meet with customers and owners to conduct job discovery walks, discuss problem-solving solutions, and address constructability issues.
• Present all required documents efficiently, including timecards, inspection reports, bills of lading, QC articles, and "as built" drawings.
• Assume the role of a Project Manager for smaller jobs without an assigned PM.
• Assist the Project Manager by planning day-to-day activities and verifying the efficient use of all job-specific resources.
• Organize scheduled meetings, review project documents, and demonstrate a strong understanding of purchase orders, contracts, specifications, and blueprints.
• Effectively communicate with Project Managers and Project Engineers to promote teamwork and efficient job flow.
• Deal with individuals, owners, customers, subcontractors, or agencies to gather information, services, or additional resource needs.
• Control the progress of work within agreed timelines and schedule demands, assisting in setting schedules and overseeing daily site operations.
• Estimate material, resources, and labor for specific jobs.

Safety, Quality, and Development

• Actively participate in Quality Control (QC) and Safety audits, and disseminate information from the Safety team.
• Mentor employees and recommend specific job training opportunities, ensuring all personnel are site-specific safety trained.
• Promote team spirit, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to all company policies.
• Maintain a strong leadership presence primarily at job sites.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant industrial services or millwright field.
• Demonstrated strong leadership characteristics and a proven ability to manage industrial service operations.
• Proficiency in planning, organizing, and controlling work activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with teams, customers, and management.
• Ability to understand and interpret project documents, including purchase orders, contracts, specifications, and blueprints.
