About the Peer Review Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking qualified individuals for a long-term, stable part-time Peer Review position. This role offers the flexibility of remote work. Prospective candidates are advised to carefully review the requirements and complete the application accurately.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of a Peer Reviewer involve critically evaluating submitted manuscripts to ensure their quality, originality, and scientific rigor. This includes:

• Assessing Novelty: Determining if the manuscript presents original research that contributes new knowledge or insights to its field.
• Evaluating Study Design and Methodology: Verifying that the research design and methods employed are appropriate, comprehensive, clearly described, and allow for reproducibility.
• Reviewing Literature Integration: Ensuring the manuscript adequately incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research within the field.
• Analyzing Results and Conclusions: Confirming that results are presented clearly and appropriately, and that conclusions are well-supported by the data and hold significance for the discipline.
• Providing Constructive Feedback: Offering clear, concise, and actionable suggestions for improvement, while also identifying any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Recommending Publication Status: Providing an evaluation that informs the journal editor's decision on manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must meet specific academic and professional criteria:

• Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A record of publishing at least five papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles pertinent to the relevant academic discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
