About the Role: Peer Reviewer

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Peer Reviewer for Integrative & Complementary Medicine. This is a long-term, stable, part-time position that supports remote work. The role involves critically evaluating academic manuscripts to ensure their quality, originality, and scientific rigor before publication.

Core Responsibilities

As a Peer Reviewer, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assessing the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, determining if they contribute new knowledge or insights to the field.
• Evaluating the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of the study design and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verifying that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research within the field.
• Analyzing the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clear, data-supported, and significant to the discipline.
• Providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Recommending publication decisions to the journal editor based on your comprehensive evaluation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• A record of publishing at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within Integrative & Complementary Medicine.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
