About the Peer Review Opportunity

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking qualified individuals for a part-time, remote peer review role supporting medical research. This is a long-term, stable engagement for experienced professionals.

Role Overview

In this role, you will provide critical evaluation of medical research manuscripts. Your expertise will contribute to the integrity and advancement of scientific publications. The position is structured for remote work, offering flexibility to professionals based in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the originality and novelty of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) based on your evaluation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant medical research subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated publication record with at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within your discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
