About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a PhD Peer Reviewer specializing in Geriatrics for a long-term, stable part-time position. This role supports remote work and is based in Saudi Arabia. The position requires a minimum of 5-10 years of experience.

Role Overview

This part-time, remote role involves providing expert peer review for academic manuscripts within the field of Geriatrics. The primary objective is to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific rigor of submitted research before publication. The position offers a stable, long-term engagement for qualified professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, assessing their contribution to the field of Geriatrics.
• Critically assess the study design, methodology, and clarity of description to ensure appropriateness and reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date literature.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are supported by data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and potential ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in Geriatrics or a related subject area.
• A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Demonstrated understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles in the relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
