About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time peer reviewer with a ** in Metabolism to support long-term, stable remote work opportunities in Saudi Arabia. This role involves evaluating academic manuscripts to ensure scientific rigor and quality.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough peer reviews of academic manuscripts. This includes assessing the originality and novelty of the research, ensuring the study design and methodology are appropriate and clearly described for reproducibility. Reviewers are expected to verify that the literature review is comprehensive and up-to-date, and that results are presented clearly with conclusions supported by the data and relevant to the field. A key aspect of the role is providing constructive feedback to authors, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns, which informs the editor's decision on publication.

Key Reviewer Tasks

• Evaluate the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Assess the appropriateness and clarity of research methodologies.
• Ensure comprehensive and current literature review is incorporated.
• Analyze the presentation and interpretation of results and conclusions.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors.
• Recommend manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection based on evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a Doctorate (*** or an equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience is expected. Applicants should have a strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within their discipline. Proven ability to manage time effectively and adhere to deadlines is essential. Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable, as is familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
