About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a qualified individual for a part-time, long-term remote position as a PhD Peer Reviewer specializing in Nephrology in Saudi Arabia. This role requires a high level of academic expertise and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of scholarly publications.

Core Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role involve the thorough evaluation of submitted manuscripts within the field of Nephrology. This includes:

• Assessing the originality and contribution of the manuscript to the existing body of knowledge in Nephrology.
• Evaluating the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of the study design and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verifying that the manuscript adequately incorporates and cites relevant and current research in the field.
• Analyzing the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Providing clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors, highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
• Making a recommendation regarding the publication status of the manuscript based on the evaluation.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this position must meet the following academic and professional criteria:

• Possession of a Doctorate (PhD) or an equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A publication record of at least 5 papers in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• A thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles pertinent to Nephrology.
• Demonstrated experience in peer reviewing academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
