About the Role

Fengkai Group Co., Limited is seeking a part-time PHD Peer Reviewer to support its operations in Saudi Arabia. This is a long-term, stable remote position.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to conduct thorough peer reviews of academic manuscripts. This involves evaluating the originality, methodology, and contribution of research papers to the relevant field. The reviewer will provide constructive feedback to authors and editors, contributing to the quality and integrity of published research.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts, determining their contribution to the field.
• Evaluate the appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity of study designs and methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Verify that the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant, up-to-date research.
• Analyze the presentation of results and conclusions, ensuring they are clearly supported by the data and are significant to the field.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to authors and editors, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, omissions, and ethical concerns.
• Make recommendations regarding manuscript publication status (acceptance, revision, or rejection) based on the evaluation.

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent advanced degree in the relevant subject area.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field.
• At least 5 papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Thorough understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles within the discipline.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
