About the Role: Plumber

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Plumber to join our team in Medina (المدينة المنورة). In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems throughout the property, ensuring all safety and quality standards are consistently met. This position is crucial for providing excellent service to our guests and maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities.

Core Plumbing Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on all plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Address minor plumbing problems, including unclogging drains and repairing leaks.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings according to specifications.
• Conduct tests by filling pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and technical specifications to plan installations and repairs.
• Study building plans and inspect structures to accurately plan plumbing installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to achieve required angles and dimensions.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Execute miscellaneous minor repairs as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing tools and equipment to ensure their longevity and functionality.

Operational Standards and Safety Compliance

• Adhere strictly to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Promptly report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Ensure the confidentiality of proprietary information and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs proactively.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
• Ensure consistent adherence to quality expectations and established standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 75 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move safely up and down a ladder.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in plumbing or a related technical field is required.
