Pool Attendant

About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Pool Attendant to serve as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property. This full-time role involves providing information to guests about available recreation facilities, encouraging participation in activities, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe activity in recreational facilities and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedures.
• Provide cashier services for point-of-sale transactions within facilities.
• Assist with group activities and events during private functions hosted within recreation facilities.
• Identify situations where guests may not be able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisors or managers.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others, including answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Demands

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 25 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or * equivalent.
• No prior related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current First Aid Certification.
• Proficiency with recreation equipment.
• Any additional certifications or training mandated by local and state agencies.
