About the Production Planner Role

United Group is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. This full-time position is based in the Al Madinah Region, with work locations in Yanbu and Medina. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Production Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS). This involves translating demand forecasts and customer orders into a practical and achievable production plan. The role ensures that production activities align with demand, capacity, and inventory levels to maintain a smooth workflow and meet delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align demand with production capacity.
• Translate demand forecasts and customer orders into a feasible and executable production plan.
• Monitor production execution against the plan and address any deviations to ensure adherence.
• Schedule production activities to meet delivery commitments and optimize workflow.
• Balance demand, capacity, and inventory levels for efficient operations and minimal disruptions.
• Support a smooth production flow to consistently achieve targets.
• Perform rough-cut capacity planning to identify potential constraints and inform planning decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and resolve planning issues.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in production planning.
• Strong planning and forecasting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (*, SAP, Oracle).
• Understanding of production processes.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

This is a full-time position located in the Al Madinah Region, with specific work sites in Yanbu and Medina.
