Senior Mechanic

About the Role

Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join their team. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of production units.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks in adherence to approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify, assess the readiness of, and perform preventive maintenance on required tools and equipment to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure appropriate disposal of maintenance waste.
• Perform mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
