The Service Center Operator Role

We are seeking a Service Center Operator to manage workshop job execution with a focus on quality and pace. This full-time position is based in Yanbu, within the Al Madinah region, and reports directly to the Service Centre Manager. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity for recent graduates to start their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on activities related to Heat Exchanger reconditioning, including disassembly, plate cleaning, dye penetrant inspection, gasket gluing, assembly, and pressure testing.
• Ensure consistent adherence to required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols.
• Report technical findings from various inspections and generate comprehensive reports.
• Communicate any issues to the Team Leader and incorporate feedback before proceeding with tasks.
• Utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and established procedures for all work.
• Follow guidelines outlined in reconditioning and repair procedures.
• Maintain day-to-day housekeeping standards within the workshop.
• Ensure efficient maintenance and care of all company tools, spares, and consumables.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of workshop tools and personnel.
• Be prepared to work extended hours to meet customer requirements for on-time job execution.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Hands-on technician with 0-1 years of experience.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to integrate into a cross-cultural environment.
• Solution-oriented mindset, capable of effective prioritization and task execution.
• Strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Builds trust through clear communication.
• Good level of safety awareness.
• Result-oriented and a self-starter.
• Good understanding of operational issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Computer literate, proficient in MS Office.
• Preferred to be a Saudi National.
