About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Storekeeper to join its team in the Red Sea. This full-time position is crucial for managing inventory and supplies, contributing to efficient operations, and upholding the high standards of luxury service expected at The Ritz-Carlton.

Key Responsibilities

The Storekeeper will be responsible for a range of duties essential to inventory management and supply chain efficiency, including:

• Receiving and organizing merchandise by department, ensuring proper placement and delivery to designated areas.
• Stacking received goods efficiently on pallets or carts.
• Completing requisition forms accurately for stock and provisions.
• Monitoring stock levels and promptly notifying management of low inventory to prevent shortages.
• Handling deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of perishable products to maintain quality.
• Inspecting deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, integrity, and overall quality, rejecting any damaged or incorrect items.

Operational Standards and Safety

This role requires adherence to strict operational guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant environment:

• Adhering to food safety guidelines and handling procedures in all food-related areas.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Disposing of empty pallets, cartons, and waste in designated storage areas.
• Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management, and participating in safety training to obtain necessary certifications.
• Upholding quality assurance standards across all tasks.

Professional Conduct and Physical Demands

The Storekeeper is expected to maintain professional conduct and meet the physical demands of the role:

• Complying with company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting proprietary information, and safeguarding company assets.
• Communicating professionally with both guests and colleagues.
• Fostering positive working relationships and supporting team goals.
• Performing physical tasks including stretching, bending, twisting, crawling, stooping, grasping, turning, manipulating objects, climbing stairs/ramps, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods as required.
• Executing other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for the Storekeeper position should meet the following criteria:

• Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
• Experience: No related work experience is required, nor is supervisory experience.
• License/Certification: No specific licenses or certifications are required for this role.
