Supervisor

About the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a Supervisor to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time operational role focused on supervising team member activities during shifts. The Supervisor ensures that standards related to people, product, cleanliness, and guest experience are consistently met. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example, demonstrating respect for team members and guests.
• Provide ongoing, specific direction to team members and address issues promptly.
• Foster a positive work environment and motivate team members to achieve goals.
• Train, orientate, and monitor new team members, reporting performance to the Store Manager.
• Ensure optimal team member coverage and assist in various positions during busy periods to maintain service levels.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction and reinforce positive hospitality behaviors among team members.
• Address guest service complaints in a timely manner, resolving problems effectively.
• Comply with and enforce all operating standards, ensuring proper product merchandising and stocking.
• Manage shift cash procedures and maintain operational efficiency using the work schedule.
• Supervise team members to ensure completion of primary and secondary duties.
• Ensure adherence to all store policies, including cash, meal, break, and food safety policies.
• Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and discount schemes.
• Assist the Store Manager in driving sales and transactions during shifts.
• Complete all required shift documentation, such as waste records and store checklists.
• Escalate any issues or problems to immediate superiors.

Health and Safety Compliance

• Understand and follow safe work practices and procedures.
• Utilize personal protective equipment or clothing as required.
• Report all injuries, illnesses, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents, and any contraventions of health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures to the Store Manager or Area Manager.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed during the shift, including documentation and reporting of work-related injuries or accidents.

Cashiering and Equipment Oversight

• Supervise and ensure that technical equipment in the stores is in working condition.
• Count money in the cash till at the beginning of shifts to verify correctness and adequate change.
• Receive payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits when necessary.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers accurately when required.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.

Experience Required

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
