The Opportunity: Senior HSE Manager

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior HSE Manager to join the team in Abha, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a Saudi National with over 10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management. The Senior HSE Manager will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing HSE systems and procedures for projects, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements. This position functionally reports to both the Project Director/Manager and the Corporate HSE Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of the Project HSE Management System, including action monitoring and incident reporting procedures, in line with internal systems and client specifications.
• Provide expert advice and support to the Project Director/Manager on processes and procedures necessary to achieve HSE objectives.
• Ensure project alignment and interface effectively with Client HSE Processes.
• Advise the Project Director/Manager on HSE training requirements for project personnel and ensure effective training is developed and delivered.
• Lead and promote HSE meetings, audits, and reviews.
• Ensure specialist HSE advice is obtained when required.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of a formal risk assessment process.
• Ensure HSE reports and correspondences are collected, analyzed, and communicated effectively.
• Develop and communicate Project HSE performance statistics.
• Interface with the Client team to ensure prompt delivery of the HSE scope of services.
• Ensure adequate HSE resources are available, and manage these resources to deliver HSE objectives.
• Provide clear direction and manage HSE Engineers and staff assigned to the project.

Qualifications and Experience

• Nationality: Saudi National is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Health, Safety, and Environment management.
• Qualifications: Possess relevant professional qualifications in HSE.

Work Location

This position is based full-time in Abha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
