About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a certified Lifting Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh and Ad Dir'iyah. This role involves overseeing and executing lifting operations for an infrastructure development project, ensuring all activities comply with international and project technical standards. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The Lifting Engineer will be responsible for the safe engineering, review, and execution of all lifting activities, heavy equipment deployment, and rigging plans. This includes ensuring adherence to safety protocols and technical specifications throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, review, and approve standard and critical lifting plans, including tandem lifts and mobile/tower crane configurations.
Monitor the deployment and compliance of heavy equipment on-site, verifying that all machinery, rigging hardware, and lifting tackle meet specifications.
Enforce strict adherence to international lifting standards and internal health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
Conduct regular inspections of lifting gear, heavy machinery, and ground conditions prior to lift execution.
Coordinate with site rigging teams, lift supervisors, and equipment operators to ensure execution aligns with engineered plans.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of proven experience on civil infrastructure, earthworks, or heavy construction sites. Experience within KSA or the Diriyah region is an advantage.
Solid understanding of crane load charts, rigging calculations, crane positioning, and ground bearing pressures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh and Ad Dir'iyah, focusing on an infrastructure development project. The role requires on-site presence and coordination with various teams to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
