Operations & Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Envac Qatar WLL is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician for a full-time position in Al Aqiq, Riyadh. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of Envac pneumatic waste collection systems. The technician will support planned preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, troubleshooting, and system monitoring to maintain high system availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Envac pneumatic waste collection systems, including collection stations, inlet stations, pneumatic equipment, electrical controls, and associated mechanical components.
• Perform routine, preventive, and proactive maintenance in accordance with approved schedules, technical manuals, and site-specific procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults, responding promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections, functional testing, and condition assessments, identifying defects and ensuring timely repairs.
• Carry out authorized electrical and pneumatic work, commissioning support, and initial start-up activities according to Envac procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, maintenance checklists, fault reports, and technical documentation.
• Utilize computerized maintenance and control systems to track work orders, equipment performance, and service activities.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of critical spare parts, consumables, tools, and materials.
• Support scheduled replacement of worn or failed components and recommend improvements to maintenance plans and system performance.
• Ensure all work complies with Envac requirements, site procedures, applicable legislation, and HSE standards.
• Apply safe isolation procedures before maintenance, including electrical power and compressed air isolation, lockout/tagout, and use of appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate professionally with clients, facilities-management teams, subcontractors, and internal operations teams, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Participate in shift work, on-call duty, emergency call-outs, and weekend/public-holiday coverage as required by site operations.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance, preferably within a related field involving pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from SAR 3,750 to SAR 5,625 per month.

This role involves working directly with Envac pneumatic waste collection systems on-site, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols and coordination with various stakeholders.
