Role Overview

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager – Aromatics (Derivatives) to lead all maintenance activities for the Aromatics (Derivatives) Area. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail and is critical for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all maintenance activities for the Aromatics (Derivatives) Area, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation in accordance with Company standards.
• Execute and oversee mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance for Aromatics/Derivatives process units.
• Ensure timely execution and reporting of maintenance activities through the CMMS system.
• Support Planning & Scheduling and Reliability teams in maintenance optimization, bad actor analysis, and equipment reliability improvement.
• Lead maintenance execution during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major equipment overhauls.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance teams and contractors while ensuring strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
• Prepare weekly maintenance performance reports and participate in maintenance review meetings.
• Develop maintenance personnel through technical coaching and job-specific training in coordination with HR.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the aromatics or derivatives sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex maintenance operations and lead diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems for maintenance planning and reporting.
• Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence to manage and oversee maintenance operations effectively.
