About the Role: Electrical Technician III

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician III to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is critical for maintaining the integrity and operational efficiency of electrical systems, equipment, and facilities. The role focuses on executing maintenance activities in compliance with established plans and safety standards.

Role Purpose and Focus

The Electrical Technician III will be responsible for implementing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance plans, alongside performing efficient and effective breakdown maintenance. A primary objective of this role is to consistently apply best practices and stringent safety protocols across all electrical maintenance operations to ensure system reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day electrical maintenance activities on all electrical systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area of responsibility.
• Ensure strict compliance with SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during the execution of all electrical maintenance activities.
• Oversee and ensure the proper execution of routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform timely and quality repair and troubleshooting activities on electrical assets to increase system availability and reliability.
• Receive and act upon work directions from the respective Electrical Supervisor regarding electrical systems maintenance orders and requests.
• Monitor electrical maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the Electrical Supervisor.
• Maintain records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.
• Enforce SATORP’s policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during maintenance works.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HV and LV switchgear and control gears, including testing of electronic protection relays, power circuit breakers, bus bars, contactors, motor starters, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
• Perform readings of partial discharge capacitors in HV motors.
• Execute on-line analysis of current signatures of motors.
• Conduct testing on all types of transformers.
• Provide support for switchgear operations in electrical substations when requested.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned by the respective Electrical Leader.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to execute maintenance activities on electrical systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Proficiency in performing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety and quality procedures in an industrial setting.
• Experience with HV and LV switchgear, electronic protection relays, power circuit breakers, transformers, and motor diagnostics.

This role operates within a structured industrial environment where strict adherence to established safety and quality procedures, specifically SATORP's policies, is paramount. The Electrical Technician III will work collaboratively under the direction of an Electrical Supervisor and Leader, contributing to the overall reliability and safety of electrical systems.
