About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instrument Technician I to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role is critical for ensuring the reliability and availability of instrument assets, which are essential for maintaining the operation of process units. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the maintenance technician's team, ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance plans and efficient execution of breakdown maintenance on Instrument systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Execute monthly and weekly maintenance plans, control progress, and submit regular reports.
  • Provide onsite maintenance and repairs for various types of instruments, including generators, transformers, and motors.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to established standards, specifications, safety procedures, manufacturer’s recommendations, and contract terms.
  • Act as the focal point for the daily Instrument maintenance execution plan.
  • Conduct frequent site visits to monitor work execution and technician activities during routine maintenance.
  • Follow up on Instrument maintenance work progress and provide regular reports with recommendations to the Instrument foreman.
  • Maintain records of daily maintenance works against planned programs and prepare work completion reports as required.
  • Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment by recommending improvements to increase suitability and serviceability.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in instrument maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Instrument systems.
  • Good knowledge of Instrument equipment design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing Mechanical and electro-hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in standards, procedures, and regulations related to Health, Safety, and Environmental preservation.
