Safety Advisor

About the Role

Mammoet is seeking a Safety Advisor for heavy lift and transport projects. This full-time role is based in Al Jubail, Eastern region, and focuses on maintaining high safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards across all operations. The Safety Advisor plays a critical role in ensuring compliance and promoting a strong safety culture for colleagues, contractors, and customers.

Role Context and Importance

Safety is paramount to all Mammoet operations. The SHEQ professionals are integral to upholding the highest possible standards. This position involves supporting project SHEQ initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of safety management systems within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project SHEQ initiatives and ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring activities.
• Participate in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Facilitate Mammoet internal training and SHEQ awareness programs.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all project activities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of SHEQ management systems and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a safety advisory role, preferably within heavy lift or transport projects. The role requires a professional who can manage relatively complex tasks and contribute effectively to SHEQ standards.
