Sr. Electrical Design Engineer EPC Project

About the Role

Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition company, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Design Engineer for an EPC Project. This contract position is based in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia, and requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, particularly within EPC projects in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Hydrocarbon, Refinery, Offshore, or Infrastructure.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing electrical engineering and design activities for large to mega-scale projects. The role demands strong expertise in electrical power distribution systems, ETAP power system studies, relay protection settings, and electrical calculations. This position involves work across various project phases, including FEED, detailed engineering, vendor document review, construction, and commissioning support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute electrical engineering and design activities for large to mega projects.
• Conduct ETAP power system studies and develop relay protection settings.
• Perform electrical calculations and contribute to FEED and detailed engineering phases.
• Review vendor documents and provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
• Independently manage electrical engineering deliverables.
• Resolve design and construction-related technical issues in adherence to international standards (NFPA 70/NEC), client specifications, and project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Proven experience in EPC engineering and design environments.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Hydrocarbon, Offshore, or major Infrastructure projects.
• Experience working on large to mega-scale projects.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and associated engineering practices.
• Strong practical knowledge of ETAP and power system studies.
• Experience with relay protection and protection settings.
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering calculations, design principles, and international standards.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70/NEC and applicable client/project standards.
• Experience with engineering deliverables, vendor coordination, and site technical support.
• Ability to work independently as a senior electrical discipline/design engineer.
