Penspen is seeking a Communication Engineer to join their team. This full-time position will be based in Al Khafji, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Communication Engineer will be primarily responsible for the review and approval of all Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) deliverables related to a new Public Address and General Alarm (PAGA) system. This system is slated for installation within the PIB, substation, and new desalter plant areas. A key aspect of the role involves ensuring seamless interfaces with the existing Telecommunication System.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve all FEED deliverables pertaining to the new PAGA system.
• Ensure all necessary interfaces with the Telecommunication System are established and functional.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the field.
• At least four (4) years of experience specifically on major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FEED and Detail Engineering is compulsory.
• Previous experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) in a similar role for several years is preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures/practices is beneficial.
• Exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This role is an offshore position, requiring the successful candidate to be based in Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia, and work within an offshore operational setting.
