About the Opportunity

Penspen is seeking a Cost Estimation Engineer to join our team in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to our PMS project, and we are looking for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in relevant fields.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the project controls team deployed across various projects. The Cost Estimation Engineer will provide essential project control support to the Project Management team, who act on behalf of our client, Khafji Joint Operations (KJO), to ensure the successful delivery of the overall program of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the project controls team assigned to diverse projects.
• Provide comprehensive project control support directly to the Project Management team.
• Contribute to the effective delivery of project programs for Khafji Joint Operations (KJO).

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cost estimation and project controls.
• Demonstrated capability in evaluating and providing consultation on project cost estimation and forecasting issues and problems.
• Prior PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience in a similar role is preferable, with at least several years of relevant engagement.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Previous experience in schedule and cost benchmarking specifically for oil and gas upstream projects.

Technical Proficiency

• Computer literate with strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of the Primavera P6 package.

This is a full-time employment opportunity based in Al Khafji, located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is dedicated to supporting Penspen's PMS project in the region.
