Penspen is seeking a Senior Cost / Budget Controller to join their team in Al Khafji, Eastern region. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Overview

The Senior Cost / Budget Controller will provide comprehensive cost management and budget control oversight for projects. This role ensures that the financial performance of EPC contractors aligns with approved budgets and contractual commitments. The position involves reviewing various financial documents and leading cost-related analyses to maintain project financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall cost management and budget control oversight for projects.
• Ensure EPC contractor financial performance aligns with approved budgets and contractual commitments.
• Review cost estimates, budgets, commitments, and forecasts submitted by EPC contractors.
• Lead cost reviews, validate progress and cost reports, and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Evaluate contractor cost control procedures, ensuring compliance with PMS and Client requirements.
• Support the Project Controls Manager in developing cost baselines, change control procedures, and cash flow forecasting.
• Review and validate claims, invoices, and variation orders for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Prepare monthly cost performance summaries.
• Support final cost closeout and lessons learned documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cost management and budget control.
• Proven ability to manage project costs and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
• Experience with EPC contractor financial performance evaluation.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Khafji, within the Eastern region. The role involves working closely with project teams and contractors to ensure financial compliance and performance.
