About Penspen and the Role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating) to join its team. This full-time position is based in both the UAE and Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia, within the Eastern region.

Role Purpose

The Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating) will be responsible for managing various rotating equipment within oil and gas plant environments. This role involves overseeing critical machinery essential to plant operations and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a range of rotating equipment, including turbines, compressors, and pumps.
• Oversee equipment specifically related to oil and gas plants.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of overall professional experience.
• At least six (6) years of this experience must be specifically within the field of various rotating equipment for major Oil and Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Specific Project Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in offshore projects.
• Proven experience in commissioning, operation, and start-up phases of projects.
• Previous experience with ARAMCO projects is mandatory.
