About the Role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Al Khafji, Eastern Province, KSA. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional to contribute to core engineering activities within the business.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage and deliver a significant volume of engineering activities across various projects. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and quality of process engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing engineering deliverables in accordance with company technical competency standards.
• Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Conducting Hysys simulations and developing Heat & Material Balances (H&MB).
• Performing technical analysis of engineering problems and proposing solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering.
• Proficiency in basic engineering processes.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and engineering practices.
• Exposure to Saudi Aramco standards is considered advantageous.
• Comprehensive understanding of all design aspects, from conceptualization to detailed design.

Technical Skills

• Ability to develop Process Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
• Competence in Hysys Simulation and Heat & Material Balance development.
• Strong analytical skills for addressing engineering challenges.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a professional engineering environment, contributing to projects that require adherence to established industry standards and practices.
