Position Overview

Alturki Holding is seeking an Accountant to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Region. This full-time role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience in the field. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations, and supporting the organization's overall financial health.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain transparent and timely financial reporting. This involves preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. The Accountant will play a key role in assisting with budgeting and forecasting efforts, directly contributing to informed strategic decision-making within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Process daily accounting entries for receipts, payments, journals, and adjustments.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, amortization, and provisions.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
  • Record intercompany transactions and prepare reconciliations.
  • Maintain proper chart of accounts and accounting records.
  • Record bank transactions, process petty cash transactions, and manage reimbursements.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor daily cash balances and liquidity requirements.
  • Record inventory purchases, adjustments, production entries, and finished goods.
  • Process inventory transfers between locations and record wastage, expiry, and stock write-offs.
  • Assist in recipe costing, standard cost updates, food cost calculations, and inventory valuation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 1-4 years of proven experience in similar accounting roles.
  • CMA, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
