About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking an Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations within an assigned region. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, involves ensuring the integrity of financial data, reconciling accounts, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a proactive approach to financial monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current accounting records for the region, ensuring the integrity of all financial data.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards.
• Conduct monthly stock inventory checks in assigned branches and warehouses within the region.
• Prepare detailed reports highlighting discrepancies to ensure transparency and accuracy in inventory records.
• Perform daily closing procedures for assigned branches, reconciling sales and cash transactions.
• Analyze intermediate accounts such as customer deposits and advance payments, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
• Monitor and control regional expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Provide insightful analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency.
• Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and analytical support to auditors.
• Collaborate closely with the audit team to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Financial Oversight and Reporting

The Accountant will exercise comprehensive control over the financial operations of the assigned region.
