Accountant

About the Role

AlRomaih Industrial Commercial Group is seeking an Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations for an assigned region. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing financial procedures and policies to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current accounting records for the region, ensuring the integrity of all financial data.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards.
• Conduct monthly stock inventory checks in assigned branches and warehouses within the region.
• Prepare detailed reports highlighting discrepancies to ensure transparency and accuracy in inventory records.
• Perform daily closing procedures for assigned branches, reconciling sales and cash transactions.
• Analyze intermediate accounts such as customer deposits and advance payments, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
• Monitor and control regional expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Provide insightful analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency.
• Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation, data, and analytical support to auditors.
• Collaborate closely with the audit team to ensure a smooth audit process.

Operational Duties

• Execute activities related to the function using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on comprehensive financial control within an assigned region of AlRomaih Industrial Commercial Group.
