Food & Beverage Assistant Manager

About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position involves overseeing assigned food and beverage and culinary operations, focusing on guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards, and achieving financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond quickly and proactively to their concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills throughout the property, demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
• Motivate and encourage staff to resolve guest and employee-related concerns.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service and respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understand the brand's service culture and set service expectations for all guests, both internal and external.
• Take ownership of guest complaints or problems until resolved or addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
• Follow up to ensure complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with all guests to build repeated clientele, internally and externally.

Operational Support

• Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in food and beverage operations. The role requires a professional who can maintain high standards and contribute to meeting or exceeding financial goals.
