Instrumentation Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves performing essential maintenance, repair, and installation activities, working under mentorship to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventative maintenance activities.
• Conduct repair, installation, and commissioning tasks.
• Execute general servicing activities for instrumentation systems.
• Collaborate with a mentor to address customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems within existing systems and processes, making minor changes as required.
• Address problems and issues that generally fall within a single job area or discipline, with well-defined scope.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• An Associate's Degree or Technical Degree is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is suggested, with overall experience ranging from 2-5 years.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties.
• Proficiency in using specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations.
• Capacity to apply broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices when necessary.
• Ability to understand and consider other job areas when problems are vaguely defined.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic, limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar cultures. The role often involves delivering output according to specific operational targets and occasionally within broad operational targets, with significant impact within the job area.
