About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager I to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This contract position is responsible for developing and executing the property's marketing plan, managing e-commerce opportunities, and fostering relationships with tourism bureaus and community leaders. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete the marketing plan for the property and manage all e-commerce opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with tourism bureaus and community leaders.
  • Assist in region-wide coordination of rooms, food and beverage, spa, and golf promotions.
  • Develop leisure marketing plans, including the distribution of rate offers, packages, and programs to build occupancy.
  • Maintain, update, and manage all property websites.
  • Coordinate offers and information for all publications and inserts related to brand loyalty reward mailings.
  • Develop brochures and property collateral materials, and participate in all property imaging work, such as signage.
  • Utilize and interpret reporting for marketing recommendations, including DMA source market reports, past guest lists, and tracking.
  • Review and analyze website and email campaign tracking for individual property sites, corporate campaigns, and ******* property reports.
  • Ensure a consistent marketing message across all advertising and collateral efforts.
  • Manage the marketing budget throughout the year, providing regular tracking, ROI analysis, and recommendations for future planning.
  • Track the return on investment (ROI) for all marketing initiatives, including online, direct mail, and print advertising.
  • Monitor actual versus planned marketing budgets and provide input on funding reallocation as needed.
  • Ensure consistency in the individual property's voice across all guest touchpoints and marketing communications, adhering to corporate graphic standards.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

  • Evaluate new marketing opportunities for the property.
  • Ensure property representation on all quality internet sites with business potential.
  • Collaborate closely with respective Convention Bureaus and Chambers of Tourism.
  • Develop a strategic marketing plan for the property, encompassing group, leisure, and local efforts.
  • Plan and supervise all photo shoots, developing shot lists while considering property and brand image goals.

Relationship Building and Sales Support

  • Identify and communicate with distribution channels capable of selling distress inventory to drive property occupancy.
  • Provide all sales channels with creative and unique tools to assist in the sales and marketing of the property.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and individual properties for program rollouts, ensuring properties leverage all corporate opportunities.
  • Work with media buyers to plan and execute advertising campaigns.
  • Assist the property in developing promotions for various campaigns, aligning with strategy, goals, and Look No Further prerequisites.
  • Support the property with materials, tracking/analysis, and presentations to owners.
  • Act on behalf of the property with all vendors, balancing quality work and price, requesting estimates, and approving materials as needed.

Administrative and Compliance

  • Maintain detailed files and records for all property marketing materials, including photo usage rights and vendor contracts.
  • Ensure the property adheres to all corporate marketing guidelines.
  • Approve all invoicing through the MarrCom office.

Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing plans.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
