About the Role

Nadia, a client based in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a General Manager Agriculture (Dates). This full-time leadership position involves overseeing the entire agricultural business operations within Saudi Arabia, with a particular focus on date farming. The role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in farm management and agricultural administration.

Scope of Responsibilities

The General Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the agricultural business across multiple sites. This includes strategic oversight and operational execution to ensure efficient and productive farming practices.

• Manage the entire agricultural business operations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Oversee operations at various sites, including those located in Al Qassim, Medina, and Jadida.

Essential Experience and Knowledge

Candidates must demonstrate a robust background in agricultural management and possess specific expertise relevant to large-scale farming operations, particularly within the dates sector.

• Minimum of 5 years of General Manager experience in a similar agricultural background, with overall experience ranging from 5-10 years.
• Proven experience in farm management and agricultural methods.
• Comprehensive understanding of conditions related to crop management, irrigation, compost preparation and usage, farm machinery, and plant protection.
• Excellent knowledge of agricultural administration.
• Operational background in managing similar businesses, such as large farms.
• Experience with date farms is highly preferred.
