Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

ACWA Power is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Al Qassim. This full-time role focuses on supporting maintenance operations at the Qudra / Qassim facility, ensuring the efficient functioning of mechanical equipment. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plant mechanical equipment.
• Support monthly and annual outages, overhauls, and maintenance shutdowns.
• Execute work orders using SAP/CMMS and coordinate with Planning Engineers.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Review technical quotations and support procurement activities.
• Manage spare parts planning and availability.
• Review maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, IMS, legal, contractual, and organizational requirements.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Support training and development of maintenance personnel.

Experience Requirements

• Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant mechanical engineering role.

Work Environment

This role operates within a plant maintenance environment. The work involves exposure to operating equipment, outdoor weather conditions, elevated work areas, industrial noise, and various maintenance activities.
