The Role: Channel Commission Tech Specialist

Vodafone is seeking a Channel Commission Tech Specialist to join the team in Al Qatif. This full-time role involves supporting the accurate translation of commercial requirements and commission offers into the commission calculation system. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing channel commissions, configuring commission schemes, analyzing payment outcomes, and maintaining commission reporting. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on ensuring commission payments are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant policies through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, calculate, and analyze channel commissions, ensuring compliance with commercial, financial, and operational policies.
  • Translate commission scheme rules into system configurations and support their timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and compensation plan design teams to ensure effective configuration and operation of plans within the calculation system.
  • Evaluate commission payment outcomes and provide detailed comparative analyses.
  • Identify potential issues through data and trend analysis, coordinating cross-functional investigation and supporting evidence-based conclusions.
  • Develop, extract, and maintain commission-related reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with agreed definitions.
  • Process commission transactions within agreed service levels to contribute to timely and accurate commission payments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Thorough understanding of compensation plan principles and end-to-end compensation processes.
  • Educational qualification in mathematics, economics, finance, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least three years of relevant experience gained within a multinational organization, technical consultancy, or auditing firm.
  • Experience within telecommunications is beneficial.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Experience working with data warehouses and business intelligence tools.
  • Operational knowledge of SAP CRM, an incentive compensation management solution such as Callidus, or SQL.
