Role Overview

The Manufacturing Operator, based in Al Qatif, is a full-time position responsible for performing manufacturing processes within the Fabrication area. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of production lines dedicated to producing water elements (membranes). Operators will engage in various phases of production, including manufacturing/rolling, finishing, testing/packaging, and material handling, adhering to specified written procedures. The position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs, trainings, and activities.
• Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate and field check process equipment by monitoring process conditions, equipment, and control systems.
• Read production schedules to determine product setup for current production runs.
• Adhere to strict safety and environmental guidelines, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Make decisions related to safety, quality, and operations with minimal supervision.
• Assure completion of day-to-day operating tasks to achieve production results for the assigned work group.
• Lead start-of-shift data review and ensure a successful exchange or hand-off with the previous shift.
• Lead or delegate housekeeping efforts according to department expectations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment based on work process data within established boundaries.
• Perform routine and non-routine complex maintenance on equipment, escalating complex mechanical problems to a Maintenance Technician or Tech Advisor as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting required daily.
• Capability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 or 12 hours per day, including walking up and down stairs.
• Ability to twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and carry up to 45 lbs, pull with up to 82 lbs force, and push with up to 50 lbs force.

Work Environment

The role operates within a manufacturing environment where exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals is expected. Operators will receive direction from area leads/supervisors and are accountable for maximizing productivity and yield within their assigned shift and cell to contribute to overall business success.
